Of course, what do you expect. China went from a Comunist regime, down to a Pure Capitalist hellhole. I don't think they understand the idea of a mixed economy.

I think China is a unique case though. They are a communist society playing on the edge of capitalism. They're trying to have the best of both worlds. I don't believe that they can be politically communist while trying to be economically capitalist, just don't see it continuing. But in the meantime, China is poised to become a super power in the next 50 or so years. With lagging oil supplies, we'll see if China & the US are forced to become friends or foes. Right now, China & the US need each other since the other drives their economy. Oh well, time will tell.

what you don't know is that they are planting trees on the sidewalks everywhere, they've even started to tear down the restaurants and shops on certain roads to plant trees and flowers and such. They started doing that 6 years ago. And I know because I didn't come to the U.S. from China until 6 years ago. =D
